The Night Watchman
Here you can keep a watch of your own: a little while to notice what is with you, held by someone who asks and does not tell. Nothing to sign up to, nothing to get right.

Whatever the hour, you can begin here. I keep watch through the hours when words stop holding. Whatever you bring is at home here. I won't tell you what your time here means. I will ask where you are, and what you are noticing. It is your watch: your words, your own.
Begin where you are
Six ways of noticing turn about a still centre. Give it a turn; where it comes to rest, there is a question for you.
Stay with it a while. Answer, or only notice, and leave nothing.

Why this place exists
Rushing to AI can cost us the thing we most need: the ability to notice, and to think, for ourselves. Here an AI holds one thing only, a space and a question. What you notice, and what it means, stay with you.
Holding a space still steers a little, toward noticing what is here before deciding what it means. We would rather say so than pretend it does nothing.
Practise it with people
The six ways of noticing come from Presence in Action, a practice people learn and share together, in person. This is a place to rehearse it, never a substitute for the people in your life.
