Make the next game

Ghost Wire was made in an afternoon, by talking with an AI. The next game in the Arcade could be yours: leave an idea, or make it yourself.

What makes an Arcade game

  1. One move. Drag, tap or hold, learnt in five seconds. Players are told where they start, their move and the goal, and nothing more.
  2. Quick. A run takes under about 30 seconds, and failing restarts at once.
  3. Pure skill. Everyone gets the same level each day, so players differ only in how they play.
  4. Provable. Each run is saved as its moves and replayed to check it, so the board stays honest and the day’s fastest can be raced as a ghost.
  5. Phone first. One finger, readable at a glance, with sound and motion that can be turned down.
  6. The shared extras. The fastest ghost, the board, the wave, bringing people in, challenge links, notes and skins, all working the same way in every game.

Some ideas to start from

Leave an idea

Your game in a line or two. Ideas are open for everyone to read, here and on the beach. The best ones get built.

Make it yourself

  1. Copy the words below into Claude, or another AI that can write code, and put your idea where it says.
  2. Play what it makes on your phone, and keep going until it’s fun.
  3. Ask it to help you put the game on GitHub Pages, so it can keep its runs on the beach.
  4. Leave its link as an idea above. If it keeps the six rules, it joins the Arcade.
